The Brits are not the first to leave. Geeeez Louise......Some folks have the attention span of a flee.
As I said before.....
The US presence is far smaller now than it was.
Troops have been drawn down in Iraq significantly by ALL countries for quite some time now.
I am not going to get into a pissing match with the likes of LJ as to whether or not we should have been there any way because it trashes the memory of those who gave their lives to free 16 million people from a jackass. I lost someone I loved very deeply there so lets try to keep this conversation civil, (for his sake) as we approach Memorial Day.
Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are very happy Saddam is gone. As are the Iraqi Shias who are in power for the first time since the country was formed by the brits.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.

Thank you Becky. And just incase some have forgotten, we are still at war there. It is not some police action or anything else. We still have Americans dying there. Should we pull out, Yep, Can we pull out NOPE. Yep it has alot to do with what would most likely be a very bad thing for the people of Iraq. For the most part they are glad we are there. But if you even listen to news then you hear what has been still going on.

Well said
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
