Colo. Capitol Annex Building evacuated; 'white powder' found

DENVER -- The Colorado State Capitol Annex Building was evacuated Wednesday morning due to a ‘white powder scare,” Denver Fire spokesman Lt. Phil Champagne said.

The white powder reportedly arrived in an envelope or package.

Sherman Street was closed between 13th and 14th Ave. for the HazMat response.
