The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I sided with Rand Paul on this one...(Can you believe it?) I've stated over and over again that I consider the so-called Patriot Act to be a violation of the 4th, and 5th Amendments... It was when Bush passed it...It is now.

The latest news is that republican leaders are actively lobbying to vote against Paul's amendments. Wouldn't hurt to call our congressmen and *ahem* voice our displeasure

Good for Rand Paul. Both sides of the aisle are working aggressively to pass this extension. Why is that? This will probably be the most bipartisan bill yet. That is an important piece of information that the hyper partisans will let slip.

Unfortunately we're in the minority. 42% find it a necessary tool and only 34% think it goes too far.

Near as I can tell, Udall opposes, Bennett supports.

Doesn't matter, it is extended for at least another four years.

The silent majority will be silent no more.
