Obama: We’re working on gun control “under the radar”

I missed this last week, and so may many who didn’t notice Instapundit’s link to the Greeley Gazette’s post on the White House’s efforts to impose gun control through executive-branch regulatory adventurism. Jack Minor caught this anecdote buried below the jump on a Washington Post Lifestyle profile of Steve Croley, first published six weeks ago. Described as “the White House’s point man on gun regulation policy,” the Post includes this rather telling quote from President Obama on the issue of gun control from March:

Liberal are always sneaky. They want to impose their will upon the people. They cannot do their wickedness out in the open.

Whether guilty or not, the fact is this administration is looking to impose its will against the will of the people regarding gun control. It is a Obama hallmark to do as much under the radar or have things hidden. By making this statement, I do not condone similar action taken by any other president in the past.

I thought they were too stupid to be sneaky.

Not all of them. It's the stupid ones, (R) & (D), that think they are sneaky that you have to be wary of.

When pressed with actual evidence of wrong doing, the Left justifies these things with statements like "we're not one issue voters" as opposed to vote this liar out of office. I pointed out the agenda issue on Pinecam, before getting the boot, and here on 285 Bound. This was clearly part of the Democratic and especially the White House agenda before they realized how unpopular it was. Now its back with an end around approach just like the Czars creating, or interpreting laws, neither of which they are authorized to do.

The silent majority will be silent no more.

Not much the current admin does in the open. Everything behind closed doors, under the radar, private meetings, etc, etc.
The mafia could do a better job of running this country.
