Honestly MB I really don't know why you dislike Archer so much. I know from personal experience though how two people can just rub each other the wrong way, but you two have never even met.

The Archer "you see" on here I just don't. Granted, I have no knowledge of all of the history of your posts between each other, but I just don't "see" the Archer you do. I see a very level-headed, fair, and not-afraid-to-speak-her-mind woman. There is nothing wrong with that to me.

I had always liked her posts (we see things very similar it seems), but when I met her in person it was different. Instead of liking her, I LOVED HER! She is this little tiny, cute, pixie of a ball of fire. LOL

I have found that people with a strong back-bones sometimes clash more easily than if one person was a bit quieter. You both seem like big personalities which might be why it's easier to have conflicting feelings. But she is NOT the worst of womanhood by any stretch of the imagination, just like I don't think if someone said 'you are the worst of manhood' I would agree with them.

This is just my two cents worth which has been pointed out to me before isn't worth much.  :peace:

She drives me nuts. Because she is not a logical person. She will argue one thing at one minute and another thing at another. She holds people to standards to which she refuses to apply to herself. That drives me nuts. She will say that she is not a socialist and then spout socialist ideas in the same thread. She then denies that her socialist ideas are socialist. This drives me nuts. She says that she is a conservative and then demand that taxes be increased for social programs. It drives me nuts. She will ask for sources and say that you are unreasonable for not supplying them, then whenever she is asked for sources, she says that it is unreasonable to ask for sources from her. It drives me nuts.
I loathe that type of flip-flopping, waffling, squashy logic. It drives me nuts.

Ok, thanks for explaining that. I think I might know what's going on between you two then. Again, my two cents, but here it goes.......

I think a lot of people are 'straight-down-the-line" Republican or Democratic in their political beliefs. Some are not. I used to be a registered (and voted that way) Republican, then I was a registered (and voted that way) Democrat. Now I am registered as an Independent because I don't really fit into either of the two other parties 100%. I'd rather vote on the issue or person independently. I think I am more left-wing, but when Viking asks me some questions (I think he gave me a test) and do have some conservative beliefs too. Basically, I am a connundrome (I don't know how to spell the word :faint: ). I even confuse myself sometimes and I'm sure it would be impossible to label me. It is not flip-flopping, waffling, or squashy logic to me and how I feel on topics. It is just a matter of taking each topic and looking at it independently. I can see to some how that might appear inconsistent, but I think it is smart.

As far as sources goes, that's tough. We don't always have the time or thought to 'source' every post we make. That would be impossible and take away some of the fun and ease a board should be.

I hate to tell you this (because I hate it when I hear it too), but those that annoy us are really most like us. :VeryScared: Remember, it is soooo much easier to get aggravated and take things the wrong way, or say things more harshly than we would if we were sitting face-to-face. I would bet ALMOST ANYTHING that if you were sitting face-to-face with Archer discussing the same topics as you do on here, you would get a LOT less frustrated. I hazard to guess she would have you smiling and laughing in no time at all and vice versa. JMO I really is impossible not to want to squeeze her (in a good way!). lol If all else fails, remember we are women and grade on a curve ok?

Edited to add: I totally get her logic. Thank goodness!

I would go out and nail my toe to the deck.

rofllol  rofllol  And who says you don't have a sense of humor!!!! That was funny. BTW, hubby just got a new nail gun today and I've been helping him with a big project we're doing. He showed me how to use it and I love it. I'm pretty good if I don't say so myself. I would be happy to volunteer if you want. ?????????? :Whistle

Maybe you could come to a lunch sometime major bean and we can duke it out in the parking lot????? or.....find out that neither of us is really as bad as we think each other is.

Ok, this is my 6th post in a row. I think it's time for ME to 'shut the hell up!"

BTW, you two sound like a married couple. Make-up sex is great.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I blame it all on PF.

I do not use it to get her to shut the hell up because I know that this is impossible for her, but I do know that it will drive her nuts, so I use it as often as she needs it to send her over the edge. She never disappoints. It drives her nuts!

While I can't say for certain that she doesn't post the way she does just to annoy you, even though your posts are to annoy her, not tell her what to do and get her to obey, to a newcomer to the board, your posts might make them run for the hills and hers will not; hence, the difference in my actions between you both. If you want more people posting here to dilute out the frequency of her posts, I'd recommend not scaring the natives with what looks like naked hostility - make your insults more subtle!

(and I am pretty sure that telling her to shut up doesn't annoy her anymore - she's pretty good at rolling with the punches!)

SG - rofllol you crack me up!
