Staggering numbers.....

Since the beginning of fiscal year 2009, the agency has also shut down 8,296 websites posing as the IRS or as legitimate sites for filing taxes electronically, Shulman noted. The commissioner said the IRS since 2009 has prevented $929.3 million in refunds from being erroneously sent to people who have stolen others' identities.

Scary. I hope my accountant wasn't duped. Then again, I don't have the IRS at my door so I think the check went to the right place.
