"Owing to the harsh penalties involved and the relative inexperience with the law that many hackers have, they are rather susceptible to intimidation," Corley told the Guardian...
So I was thinking about being proactive about stopping identity theft, since the gov doesn't seem to care, but could fix it with two simple and obvious rules.
And I have a very elegant solution....but I post this to bring up the concept that if any one person besides the gov tries to fix this and puts their name out there....there identity will be the most hacked ever. You have not threatened people's jobs legal or not.
Thoughts?...I mean don't tell me you give your SS# to the doctor and verizon, etc. when you are not required to (yes even your doctor DOESN't need it) and that you have nothing to worry about....I have a hacker right next to me that has already given me the names, addresses and SS#'s of everyone on this site (just kidding, but not unrealistic.)
