Choosing Between RINOs and Libs

Tell me archer, what can the Republicans do in the house that would have any chance of passing the Senate or Obama's desk? I'm not saying I know what the Republicans want to do, but what they should do is do everything possible to ease the uncertainty businesses are feeling about the looming new costs. Obama did plenty for the unions and more government jobs but he neglected to address private business which is the ONLY hope for our recovery.

The good thing about this long lasting recession is that even the people who voted for the hope and change slogan must be asking themselves what has been done and is there someone better to finally figure it out. Other than Turbo Tax Timmy, every one of Obama's economic "dream team" is now gone. That may just be a coincidence or it may be very telling.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

If I knew the answer to that question I would have run for office.....those that DID run for office said they had plans......so when do they plan to unveil those "plans". If they actually had any idea of how to create jobs in this economy they would have touted that to the roof tops, put out a bill in the house, and dared the Democrats to defeat it. Truth is, they don't have any more idea how to create jobs than the Democrats do.

How many of the Dems legislative proposals got through the Senate with a filibuster-proof GOP minority that was set on making sure that anything that would give Obama a "win" was torpedoed? Yeah, they got a few things through with the help of a couple of GOP folks who weren't completely brainwashed... But it was the same deal...

And the point is, even if they suspect that it may not pass in the Senate or get vetoed by the President, where's the legislation? After campaigning on "jobs, jobs, jobs", where's the beef? Are they saying that since they might not get their way they're going to hold their breath, stomp their feet and turn blue for 2 years?

If you'll remember months back when the Bush tax cuts were extended, there was a boost in hiring....you'll say it was another factor, but I believe companies are not going to stick their necks out and hire more until the looming future expenses are known.

Nobody in the Obama administration would be capable of walking into a huge company that employs thousands of people and tell them how much extra per employee the health care bill will cost, or what the tax rates will be (they will be raising them, that's a given). Why waste legislation and try to argue with idiots? The Dems have planted their feet pretty firmly and have made private business the boogy man, especially if they can put a BIG in front of the industry (unless it's GM of course).

The golden goose is the private sector and the Dems are not willing to feed it, plain and simple.
