The report, by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee's Democratic staff, calls on the administration to rethink its assistance programs as President Obama prepares to begin drawing down the number of U.S. troops in Afghanistan this summer.
OK - the narco state (chief supplier of Herion to Europe and the US - is imploding - hummmmmm seems OK to a non druggie). BUT for Americans that are hooked the price will go up - way up if we leave. So hard core dopers that are liberals (seem to be most are) you'all got a massive problem.

Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
NPR always has an agenda.......with minimal scope and a depth of ignorance only exceeded by radical right wing nuts. Poppies are the only cash crop there - our billions (above and under the table) suppress the price of Heroin. Pull this and the street price has to rise accordingly.
