As Governor Walker begins to address the accomplishments of these Special Olympians in Madison Wisconsin, these scumbags draw attention to themselves. Very classy indeed.
The protesters are students from the University of Wisconsin, a few members of a larger group calling themselves the United Council of UW Students. They are protesting Voter ID laws in Wisconsin and budget cutting issues within the University system. They are comprised of both democrats and republicans I believe and had already planned to march around the capital that day.
Still, very rude to disrupt the Special Olympics event. They could have just sat in the back and silently held signs like the other anti-Walker protesters.
Matt Guidry, a spokesman for the United Council of University of Wisconsin Students, which organized the Vos protest, said his group did not back the demonstration during the noon hour Special Olympics ceremony attended by Walker, though some of the same zombie demonstrators were involved.
I hope their behavior continues - it is the surest way of exposing their agenda as being contrary to the course that should be pursued. Public derision is very effective in teaching these young polluted minds that there are indeed things bigger than themselves in the world they inhabit. Since their parents failed to instill this in them, it is now the job of society to correct that oversight.
