This is way more pessimistic than I am. I do think it is an articulate rendition of what some people believe. I think of them as the beans and bullet and gold bullion crowd.
"First the chaos. Then the crackdown. Order out of chaos. In a couple of years the events in this article might seem tame. I watched 60 minutes last week and they did a piece on Lady Gaga. I have posted on the other board a lot of articles on her and what she represents but watching the 60 minutes piece you would think she is what every child should aspire to be. I have also been posting articles about this increasing trend of youth mobs beating the hell out of people in fast food restaurants, convenience stores, and anywhere else the new youth of America like to congregate. One of the annual events that is held in Florida was recently highlighted where mobs of youth run wild and destroy everything in sight. The original organizer, Luther Campbell(Former singer of rap group Two Live crew) said he no longer attends the event because it is out of control. I guess he has grown up a little. While this is going on government is focusing on the important issues like banning circumcision in San Fran, cracking down on the Amish(the true evil in America), and figuring out every stealth way of separating us from whatever money we manage to make.
This collapse is engineered and it could have been avoided but the mega banks weren't going to take losses on their bad loans. Why should they have to when we no longer even pretend to be a free market capitalist system. The price of everything is going up and jobs are not being created despite Trillions being spent by gov't to protect certain employees. This expense of making sure that overpaid union employees continue to live like royalty leaves the rest of the country stagnant.
As bad as the economic decay is, it is nothing compared to the moral decay that is happening. I barely recognize my country anymore. The combination of the two is dangerous as the article points out. Fatherless children roaming the streets wreaking havoc while welfare mom sits at home sifting through the latest slew of programs designed to make sure she stays right where she is. Dependent on an ever increasing Goliath of government and totally incapable of self sufficiency. Worst, no longer even possessing even a tinge of guilt for being no more than a living, breathing, piglet at the teet of the American taxpayer. Just pull that lever every few years for us and we will use you to horde over the constantly decreasing middle class. If there is not enough of them yet then let's just import millions of people with no loyalty to the country, no sense of the ideals we were founded on, and lets make sure that every want and desire is met by government to keep them pulling the levers. Whether legally allowed to vote or not.
The most hilarious part is the pretending that these draconian measures that are popping up everywhere are designed to keep us safe. A myriad of new requirements that law abiding citizens have to follow. Have you read about the new passport requirements? We will let anyone in and then attack any state trying to enforce the law but American citizens that want to leave the country now have to provide the placenta they were born with to get a passport(slight exaggeration). What the hell is this?
But the crime rate continues to fall in the Obama recession confounding those social conservatives. Traditionally property crime rises as people lose their jobs, but for some reason, it isn't happening.
