Freedom in the 50 States

Interesting study. Listing the states in order as to how free they are from high taxes, regulations, more laws, and government control over our lives. If you notice, of the 13 least free states, all but Alaska are the bluest states. So 12 of the least free states vote Democrat. And of the top 20 most free states, about 17 are considered Red states and vote Republican consitantly. (And Colorado will drop from 7th quickly if we keep voting in the libs to run it) Interesting that those with the most taxes, regulations and government control like to keep voting Democrats back into office to control them. It is amazing how, when people become dependent upon the goverment, and are use to being controlled and told what to do, that they cannot break free of that dependent cycle.

POWER!
Like I've said - Ten Years After - "I'd love to change the World" is the leftist theme song which is to bad I like the song, not the lyrics.

Very interesting.

Probably even more interesting would be an evaluation of all the laws, regulations and restrictions in states 48, 49 and 50 as compared with 1,2 and 3 where none of those laws, regulations and restrictions were even necessary at all.

Alot has to do with the political views of the people who live in those states.

Wouldn't it be nice if we did things more like 1,2 and 3 - instead of 48,49 and 50?

I tink so.

But like the dumbed down Belgians, the socialists are happier. After all they have stolen from others, done less, and are pleased that all will suffer more equally.

The silent majority will be silent no more.

And some people on the right here wouldn't necessarily prefer living in a free state if it allowed homosexual couples the freedom to marry. Or gave druggies the freedom to smoke pot in public.

Then don't marry someone of the same sex, and don't smoke pot... Simple.

I wouldn't mind,
1) I can't smoke pot, company will fire me.
2) So, what, what ya do in the bedroom is your business, I'm not going to judge, homosexual want to marry they're problem not mine. Just don't care for they're lifestyle to be forced on to society. (I haven't made up mind mine if it a choice or not, so don't go there.) Not one of my BIG issues.
