Great news. But will local law enforcement continue to use the old data?
BTW, do you pull your CCW with your DL when you get pulled over or do you give it only if requested?
I show mine all the time now.
Usually it has been a good encounter but I did have a rookie freak out when she saw my wife had a CCW, wanted to search the car. Luckily her more experienced partner was more cool about the situation.
And had one state patrolman in Shawnee who was more worried about my 40 pound dogs than my concealed weapon.

They cannot search your car.
When Sherriff Mink spoke at the 285 TP meeting he stated that the officer does not know, you have a CCW . He said it’s a separate database and requires a separate request.
I don't know if the CBI deleting their database affects the Sherriff's office records.
Grady is correct, Ted Mink said the deputies are taught to presume "all" are carrying weapons, legally or otherwise. Keep your hands in plain site, like 10 and 2 on the steering wheel and communicate with the deputy, they're people too, in a potentially dangerous job.
I have a scanner and heard the dispatch state that Blah Blah was insured and had a CCW.
So Mink might be from a different unit that doesn't.
And I have been stopped and the State trooper asked what type of Concealed I carry.
