Downright silly question to my mind ----

No, he shouldn't be medicated - he should be shot......

Sure...medicate him first with Sodium Thiopental, then with Pancuronium, and lastly with Potassium Chloride. All via IV's of course.

I'm pretty darn close to being pacifist - but I have a hard time sympathizing with this fellow.

We're talking about a person who very deliberately planned and carried out a mass shooting.

Here's a guy that deliberately planned and executed a mass shooting.

Zero sympathies with all the legal mumbo jumbo, touchy-feely, save the murderer bull crap.

I do feel sorry for the guy in that is sounds like he has had serious mental health problems for a long time and they went untreated until he lost it completely. I also know that it's very difficult to have someone treated for such problems unless they agree. It seems to me that the mental health system is broken, and I don't know what the answer to that is. I mean, where do you draw the line to have someone comitted? And who makes that call? Hard questions.
