You really think Barack wants to lose the voters of North Carolina and Virginia by creating more gun control? They leak this story to make the Left think Obama is doing something but I would be very surprised if anything comes to pass.
NPR was preaching the same talking point this week, Sarah Brady truly believes Obama will restrict guns as soon as he can.

Right now the most important thing is the Presidential election in 2012 and BHO isn't going to do anything to piss off the moderates and independents.
