The Liberal mind is such a scary place to be!

So you said it is just life. Mind telling us WHEN that started when people started paying for previous and future generations? Are you saying it has been like that since the start of this nation? Social Security, and Welfare, and Medicare were ALWAYS around?

OK LJ, now that you have deflected, can you answer when all the social and welfare programs started in this country? And before that how were we taking care of our old and young?

I have a question and I don't really know the answer, if the debt limit is not increased? Do we default on the debt we already have or are we just unable to borrow more? If it's the latter, then people who are throwing around the term default are using it as a scare tactic.

We currently have 70% of the cash coming in to pay bills, so the 30% is debt. This is just reading and talking heads so not vouching on that #.

Grady, its not a default. Its a debt ceiling - no new borrowing to fund the 40% of gov't we are borrowing to pay for every week. Interest on old debt could still be paid.

If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2

Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.

You would have to choose everything across the board. They would most likely delay payments to everything, like Cali did. I choose everything. But I think it will be resolved by the deadline. Never let a good crisis go to waste, remember?
