If the bottom 40% are interested in a little more of the wealth- they can get what's called a "job". This will allow them to get off the government "tit". Jobs are harder to find now days thanks to Obama and his policies- but it's not impossible for an individual to get one.

If they already have a job- they can look for what's called a "better job".

This will be new information for many of them.

What if we taxed people like you want, the top 10% pay 50%. Sound fair to you? Well if you applied that worldwide, you as an America would be in the top 10%, even our poor are in the top 10%. Enjoy your new taxes.

And the Republicans don't run things, they don't own the courts, the Senate, or the Presidency. Why are the rich still in power? The poor outnumber them by the millions. Maybe your Dems are just complicit.

I think you need to read that again archer..SS109 never said anything about the USA having the right to tax worldwide. It is true that even the poor people in this country live better than most world wide. I know why that is, do you?

In America, our system makes it possible to start from nothing and build great wealth. I don't understand why some people seem to feel guilty that Americans have lived such better lives than most of the world. We can thank the people who fought and died for this country and were smart enough to give us a good foundation on which to build. Other counrties have failed because their governments are failures, and as our government continues down a path that was not intended by the founders, we may very well cure the guilt many of you feel.
