Probably because, while she is an obvious idiot, she is not a homicidal maniac?

Hey, it was only a reporter, not like pointing it at a human being. rofllol Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Didn't see the gun, but a S&W 642 has a trigger pull weight around 12 to 15 pounds, still no excuse for covering/sweeping some one with a firearm. Shame on her.

I have a CHL but could never carry that way. I have to keep mine in a holster with the trigger covered.
I didn't even feel comfortable carrying a Glock because it doesn't have non-trigger safety.

Agreed SS109, all my carry methods utilize holsters and all cover the trigger guard. The purses designed for carry have built in holsters.

I think this points to why some are against concealed weapons (including me) - you can train folks on how to properly shoot a gun, but you can't train them to be smart about it. Emotions, a bad day, someone cuts you off in traffic - now instead of dealing with it like most of us - healthy or not (yelling, cussing, flipping off or just letting it go), it still does not involve carrying a gun in the moment and doing something that is a result of very bad judgement.

and no I am not anti-gun. We have a German Luger and a double barreled shot gun on our property for "protection". We have only used the Luger to scare off a bear from time to time (the noise). Have not needed the shotgun, but it is loaded with deer shot - just in case.

Honestly a car is a deadlier weapon than a gun in a road rage situation. Heck, in most situations.

I like the luger. Not good for bear though you will just piss it off.
