Is THIS the change he promised in restoring our international respect? And this is worldwide too! We have lost SOOO much credibility and respect since obama took office.

The poll also noted that most Arab countries view the U.S. less favorably today than they did during the last year of the Bush administration.

When President Bush left office, 9 percent of Egyptians had a favorable attitude towards the United States. After Barack Obama was elected, that number jumped to 30 percent. But today, only 5 percent of Egyptians surveyed said they have a favorable opinion of the United States and its president. Similar figures in Morocco, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates illustrate that the initial optimism in the region has been eclipsed by a widespread sense of disappointment.

I think it's because they had high hopes that we would get the hell outta there with a Democratic president, but that didn't happen. I am disappointed, too. Obama has been a very hawkish president

Or he had no idea what he was getting into and his lofty liberal ideas don't work so well when you are faced with reality. It's easy to make campaign promises to the sheeple when you are clueless about the consequences of your promises. He had a serious wakeup call after he was given a clue by the military generals.

Go back and watch his campaign speeches, and you will see that he literally promised absolutely everything to almost everyone! And look at our posts. Many of us said there is no way he can keep them. He was lying for votes and so many people bought it who feel blindsided now. It was so obvious to those who really understand reality!

wow, a politician telling the voters what they WANT to hear... that's novel. Unfortunately, we should stop LISTENING to them and WATCH WHAT THEY DO. That is what I do in "real life". When words and actions don't match, I watch ONLY the actions.

Agreed, he went back on his promises to the Dems and listened to the Republicans in the two wars. That I will give him credit for. Listening to the R's works.

You really need to read things. I am pointing out another promise Obama broke. He promised to build up our image world wide, when in fact it is now worse than where it was with Bush.
