Who here that posts in the Courthouse do you think you'd actually enjoy discussing this stuff with in real life, over dinner or something?
I gotta tell you, I wouldn't take some of you on in real life without body armour and a couple of hefty referees handy. And someone to make sure you didn't bust up my crockery.
Actually I hang out with several Liberals on here and we may discuss politics a little but it never get's out of control and normally we just talk about normal life things.
I get it all out of my system here. I prefer lighter real-life dinner conversation, usually having something to do with issues that I have some chance of actually changing.
Occasionally my brother-in-law and I will get into deeper discssions... He's a liberal that can quote chapter and verse of Revelations and is a regular Art Bell listener. We often wind up agreeing to disagree

With a few of my liberal friends, I will discuss political stuff, but more quick asides than detailed debate.
Like when Obama acts Republican, I just remind him this is "W"'s third term.

My liberal friends could not stop talking about politics before the 2008 election, now they don't want to talk politics at all for some reason.
As for you inferring some sort of violence or screaming, just compare the rallies/protests of union liberals to Tea Party conservatives and tell me who seems more agressive.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
I'm game to get together and discuss all these issues in person.
Just in case, Can we bring our guns?
Yea my liberal friends are growing weary as well, but I still have heated discussions with them on the weekends when I go out. I have a problem with a few of them though, because they don't read the news or even listen to the news so they are not up on what's going on around them. One friend told me last weekend that she "prefers not to know" after I asked her why she dosn't watch the news. This relegates those people to "gut analysis" of issues instead of reasoned debate of the facts.
Hard to debate intelligently about a topic you know nothing about. If you spend all your time listening to music don't expect any debate to be affective when your argument comes from ignorance.
