Do you think Chrysler will fire those guys or will the UAW step in and protect their jobs? It sure seems to be happening fairly often in the union plants, but not in the non-union shops down south.
Chrysler investigates workers for drinking _ again
DETROIT— Chrysler Group LLC is investigating a second incident of its Michigan workers allegedly drinking and smoking marijuana before going to work.
WJBK-TV featured the story earlier this week. It said it caught the workers drinking and smoking
(dope)
before their shift at a Trenton engine plant.
The station ran a similar story about Chrysler workers at a Detroit plant last fall. In that case, two workers were fired and two others were given unpaid, one-month layoffs.
I'd bet there are people drinking and smoking weed doing a lot of work in the US, and around the world. Not saying it's right, but I think that goes across the workforce board.

They showed them smoking dope and then they had to go back to work. Would love to know what bolts THEY tightened! Ooops, forgot the brake line! Oh well, it's all goooood. Life is gooooood. Who cares. Hey Bud pass me that again! I'm losing my buzz!

Who are you asking? Who said it wasn't happening in non-union shops? Can't find that post. Or are you just trying to start another hypothetical argument?
