JFK agrees. Raising Taxes Doesn't Add Revenue

Funny....I have never heard any liberal refer to Obama as a god....have you viking? I do think most liberals are pretty realistic about his strengths and weaknesses. We don't agree with a lot of what he has done....and we disagree with many of his decisions.

What we do know is that Obama is a damn sight better for this nation than any of the current crop of Republican candidates.

But hey....if it makes you feel better to think liberals think Obama is a god...enjoy your fantasy.

In what way? Please explain which part of the highest debt in histroy and needing $5 trillion more and above 9% unemployment makes him better than and Republican? Point out anything he has done that makes you think he is better!

He signed the first step towards single payer Viking. That alone would qualify him for perpetual reelection by the regressive element of this nation.

You've got that right.....too bad he didn't get a complete single payer system through congress......I'll never forgive the few democrats and the elitist Republicans who stymied the progress in that direction. It was a terrible setback for this country and it's citizens. Funny you should call liberals regressive when it is the conservatives that are taking us backwards.

Handing more power to government and taking more choices from citizens is not taking us forward, it is NOT progress no matter how many times you say it.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Allowing all the citizens of this country to have access to affordable healthcare is not "handing more power to government". no matter how many times you say it. The government already has the power to assure that citizens have adequate access to health care....medicare and medicaid have been around for years.......opening that option to all citizens is a natural progression of those policies, denying that access to some citizens is about as regressive a policy as you can get.

I know....these are lazy, good-for-nothing, never did a lick of work, raised too many kids, should be better educated, people that don't deserve to be healthy.

The thing is, Viking didn't say one Dem thinks Obama is God, he said:

The Viking wrote: Dems still think Obama is a GOD!

Keep looking.....maybe you can find more examples, you will need millions to prove viking's point, you are going to be soooooooo busy.

So which part of the CBO's and many other reports, saying that there will NOT be a net gain in insured due to companies cutting the benefits and instead paying the fines as it is cheaper? And which part of them saying and Obama admitting that costs will go up and so will premiums. And thousands of more doctors refusing to accept Medicare as they have to do more paperwork, jump through more hoops, do the same work for less pay and their claims may even be rejected AFTER they do the work, and then they have to HOPE that a bankrupt Government who already said they can't pay SS this month will pay them. So doctors our refusing medicare all over the country. So there are longer waits and lines and more paperwork and expense? So to recap. The same amount of people insured, if not less. Longer waits, and worse service. Doctors dropping Medicare all over the country. Almost 1500 companies and unions recieving waivers becasue it is such a terrible plan. Premiums and costs going much higher. (as Obama admitted) Tens of millions will now have to go find more expensive insurance after they are dropped from the companies in exchange for a much less expensive fine. Of all of these, what kind of brainless person would actually think that this healthcare plan and single payer is actually a good thing? Seriously? Not any accountant that I know!

Who is paying for it? Not companies. They will drop employees health insurance everywhere. if someone came to my business and told me that my benefits costs per person were going to raise huge just to pay for others who don't even work for my company and now it will cost, as an example $5000 per year per employee or else I will have to pay a $2000 per year fine. Which one do you think I would do in ordeer to keep my dorrs open and people employed? They have said that millions of employees will LOSE health insurance with this bill and have to then find more expenxive coverage on their own. Why do so many people not see logic and can't do basic math?
