The article is simply assumptions and suppositions, with no facts showing where anyone other than the author and the conservative echos here is pushing for a 70% marginal tax rate.

I felt sorry for Boehner the day after the 2010 elections. I think he truly wants to find middle ground to get things done, but half of his caucus had the approach of "my way or the highway". The country will soon tire of this and kick them out to get things moving again. The Tea Party is ruining their opportunity to be PART of the solution, instead they are blocking any forward movement but only digging in and refusing to work with anyone. Boehner is not in an enviable position.
really? He's been trying to get this country back up outta the ditch he found it in. I am not saying that everything he's done* I have agreed with, but I think on the whole, he's trying to get us back on track for future - Have you forgotten already where Bush and his boys took the country? where we were when Obama took office? He didn't create that mess.
* ( I think he and Congress should have pushed for more infrastructure spending to repair/reinvent our electric grid, high speed trains - you know move us FORWARD instead of just rotting away).

I call bullsh** on that comment. If it were not for the Tea Party it would be business as usual in Washington. If Boehner can't handle the heat he should get out of the kitchen. Boehner does not represent the Republicans that won running on a Tea Party platform, he represents the old guard, the business as usual crowd. He needs to go and get replaced with someone that owns a pair.

How would high speed trains improve the economy? More liberal nonsense.
It seems to me that the Tea Party is not interested in America, just themselves. That's how they see it, they are the only true Americans and everyone else are parasites that are trying to destroy THEIR country. The Tea Party are such patriots every time someone utters the word succession, they giggle and clap like a little girl getting a pony for their birthday.

That post makes no sense at all and you know it is a grasp at straws. The Tea Party is more about and for America than Dems or R's.
