Dems decry ObamaCare?

A rising chorus of repeal-mongers, outraged at the Obama administration's federal health care power grab, took over Washington recently. Nope, it's not the tea party. It's Democrats Against the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB). Yes, Democrats

I think it always surprises conservatives that Democrats are independent thinkers and don't necessarily march in lock step like Republicans do. It's one of the things I like about being a Democrat........it's about me, and what I believe, not about parroting the party line, no matter what.

Cool, I like that we are willing to make exceptions and take issues on a case by case basis....if this was a Republican plan they would never allow for exceptions.....no matter what the situation might be. Must be hard to be a Republican and never, ever deviate from what they tell you to think. My sympathies viking, but you hold up the Republican party line very well. I'm sure they are very proud of you.

It's not at all about the party line. It is about AMERICA!!! Don't you get it? I vote for America and what is best for it and it's citizens! And Obama is without a doubt NOT good for America at ALL!

Gee Viking.....so do I.....I have always voted based on what I think is best for America and it's citizens........just because your view of what is best is different than mine doesn't make you right and me wrong.....or vice versa. Just different. The beauty of America is that we can have differences and still be good Americans and love our country. We elect representatives to work out those differences and compromise so that the laws that are passed reflect our differences as well as our similarities.

I would never say you don't love America just because you have differing views than I do on what is right for this nation, yet your condescending "it's all about AMERICA, don't you get it?" leads me to believe that you would not give me that same courtesy. I believe that Obama is the best we have right now for America, the Republicans have yet to show me a candidate that even comes close. They all have a social agenda that I think will be the downfall of this country if they are elected, even if their economic policies are sound, which is debatable. So you vote for your guy/gal and I'll vote for mine.....and we will both be good Americans because we exercised our right to do that.

But.....don't ever insinuate that I don't believe I am doing what is the very best for my country......just don't.
