What part of eliminating the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy don't YOU understand.....and the rest of your post is a lie. Why can't you post without telling outright lies?

Psssst, they are Obama's tax cuts for the wealthy now.

SHHHHHH!!!! Don't bring that up! Don't tell then that this is OBAMA'S tax cuts not matter HOW much they want to keep saying Bush. HIS cuts EXPIRED! The DEMS and OBAMA extended it! Don't remind them that the Dems had 100% total control of all three houses and they could have gotten rid of it at anytime in those first 2 years, but instead they voted to EXTEND them because they KNEW the economy would be WORSE by raising them!!! Passing it on down the road till Republicans got control of a house and then blame THEM for not raising them!! No one is THAT stupid to believe that!!....... ooops sorry, archer, kate, LJ, AV and the rest of you!

And still you have to lie. You can't produce a quote from Obama saying "not unless we pass trillions without reading it and it goes past my election "

Viking, if you can't make a point without lying...why bother? Do you think anyone other than your fellow kookaid drinkers will believe any thing you post?

Finally you agree that these tax cuts were a very BAD thing for this country.. You two would only be trying to pin them on Obama if you were embarrassed that your guy and a Republican congress were the ones who passed them and laid the groundwork for an economic meltdown.

Nice try....but they will always be known as Bush's tax cuts, and they will always be recognized as one of the stupidist things he ever did......squandering a surplus so he could cater to his cronies and look like the good guy.

Typical Lib. Taking only part of my post to use it our of context. Here is the REST of what I said ofter that!

The DEMS and OBAMA extended it! Don't remind them that the Dems had 100% total control of all three houses and they could have gotten rid of it at anytime in those first 2 years, but instead they voted to EXTEND them because they KNEW the economy would be WORSE by raising them!!!

So obviously you can't read and comprehend simple English. I said the economy would be WORSE by raising them so NO I don't agree. Just a small handful of idiots think that.

OK, I will try the really slow for the Liberal mind to comprehend. If obama is in the White house and the Dems control the House AND Senate for two years, and the tax cuts that many republicans and dems BOTH passed that Bush signed, expired, who now has TOTAL control of if those tax cuts stay or go? I'll give you a little time here.......... Remember Dems controlled everything and the votes. So if THEY all vote to extend the tax cuts that EXPIRED, and OBAMA signs it and wants them to stay, WHOSE tax cuts are they now? You clueless libs are so funny to watch. It's like being at a zoo.

Are you dizzy yet from all that spinning? Did you have your head stuck in the sand when the Dems tried to end the tax cuts for those making over $250,000/year? Yeah, I guess you did, which explains your posts, I guess.

Keep on spinning skippy!!!!!!!

I know this is a little off topic, but considering how Viking seems to love to criticize President Obama for making jokes about serious matters, I wonder if Vike will level the same criticism at Speaker Boehner for his similar joke about a serious matter.

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0711/59653.html

Speaker John Boehner told a closed House Republican meeting Friday morning that the chamber needs to pass legislation to lift the nation’s debt ceiling by Wednesday, although he warned that no agreement has been reached with the White House yet.

A day after breathless news reports that a deal was imminent, the Ohio Republican jokingly told his conference that he had reached a sweeping agreement with President Barack Obama to slash trillions of dollars in government spending.

“I’m just kidding,” Boehner then added, drawing a laugh from rank-and-file Republicans, according to those in the room.

Probably not the best of timing no. But we didn't just hand him $870 billion that he wasted and then joked about 2.5 million people being out of work. Not a comparison at all. But still he shouldn't make any jokes about it.
