The British government's business secretary, Vince Cable, summed up the situation as he saw it on the BBC this weekend: "The irony of the situation at the moment, with markets opening tomorrow morning, is that the biggest threat to the world financial system comes from a few right-wing nutters in the American Congress."
Naw, it's one who is trying to save it from one form of destruction by choosing an alternative method of destruction using the power of government. One who seeks to create a majority large enough to take from the minority that which they wish to portray as belonging to the majority under the excuse of "social justice" and "fairness" is a democratic socialist.
