Should we cut aid to the UN, and Middle Eastern nations?

I posted these before and they represent my feelings on this topic. I hate it that the US has to be the worlds police force. It is destroying our future economically and killing our youth in needless wars. IMO it is an excellent way to cut spending.

Great question. Right now we are giving Egypt, Israel & Pakistan major amounts of aid. If we stopped, would we lose influence in the region? I think we would. The new Egypt might decide now would be the time to attack Israel or even invade a weak Libya to secure oil fields for itself. I especially think Pakistan would be more warlike with Kashmir and India if they didn't have the carrot of US aid. And even Israel would feel less like negotiating with the Palestinians if they lost US aid.
