Should we cut aid to the UN, and Middle Eastern nations?

Just curious what people think of this? Are we giving up too much money the way it is to them? I believe a number I read was at least $67 billion per year just to one organization. Not sure of the total amount of foriegn aid per year.

People want cuts. Is this a good place to start?

If you want to be the world police and have over 100 foreign bases -Yes, of course! You can't have it all ways.

As the world leader you pay, you balance welfare (soft influence) with might (military). No matter what, you pay to promote our countries influence. Simple world dominance 101. We police the world for our and our corporations benefit.

I have no opinion on this, Viking. I don't know enough about this to give an informed opinion. Is that okay with you or do you just want a knee jerk response so you can give a knee jerk response back?
