Ever think that the "looks gap" you knuckle-draggers gloat over might have to do with the fact that Democratic women, unlike at least a few high-profile Republican women, got where they are with their talent, not their looks?
Might be a difference worth pondering by serious thinkers. But probably a wasted point on you.
You mean like Hilary Clinton who got to be A US Senator based on who her husband was?
There was a thread here a couple weeks ago noting that often the more attractive Presidential candidate often wins. I have also seen that the taller candidate often wins.
Maybe why no woman have become President? Too short.

I think Hilary Clinton would have risen to the top with or without Bill. Arguably faster and higher without him.
But yes, I think people give too much credit to looks when voting. Some people more than others, though. Let's just that if someone is not very attractive, especially if that someone happens to be a woman, and yet manages to achieve high office, it's pretty certain she's more than qualified because she obviously didn't get that "cuteness" vote.
You gotta admit it though. She's a good dresser and her hair always looks nice, and no matter how hard anybody tries they'll never get her off her talking points. No matter how stupid she sounds, she just forges ahead with her happy horses**t.
Grudging respect, and thats from a guy that recoils at the very sight and sounds of Sarah Palin

Her hair better look nice, she spends thousands of dollars to make it that way. I suspect any woman given $4700 for hair and makeup would probably "look nice"
According to Bachmann's latest campaign finance filings, her campaign spent nearly $4,700 on hair and makeup in the weeks after she entered the presidential race on June 13
