You post a link saying that the people who are complaining about taxes, specifically lately the top 2% who are already paying 20% of all the nations taxes, shouldn't be allowed to use the government services that they pay for the majority of if they complain. And look how the bottom 50% are so well behaved and don't complain. Well of course not! They don't have to pay for anything!

So you brought up socialism now. So you don't think the top percentages of people who pay for the majority of taxes and government services in this conntry, and are now being called evil and greedy for not wanting to pay more, have the right to complain about people who despise them asking them to give them more? What ever happened to gratitude in this country?

I was not saying anything. I personally did not like the jab at republicans in the beginning of the article but the reminder of all the services we get that are not free made me put things in perspective. Government can be considered a bit socialistic in nature because you have to pool your resources. When you get as large as we are, it just happens. That is all I was saying.

Got no problem with that. Just keep it at a state and local level, where we have much more control. State taxes should be 20%, fed taxes 5%.....

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Don't freak out and assume that a few dozen radicals represent an entire religion, and demand that your military strike back.......

(last I checked - Iraq has cost somewhere around a trillion dollars - Nobel laureate Stiglitz puts it up around 3 trillion)
