You want a big piece of pie?
Then go ahead and start up a business from scratch, hire a bunch of workers for $50/hr and give them all kinds of benefits. Where is the source for your graph? The Y-axis scales are cleverly magnified.

I made all money from business- and you would'nt have lasted a day in the cut throat business I was in.

You're nothin Joe. A total sap who thinks he knows whats going on when in reality he's just a babe in the woods...In my opinion

Gay porn?

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Wake up yourself VL. Let's look at this logically, shall we? The poverty rate in this nation of ours is essentially unchanged from what it was when LBJ launched his "Great Society". The percentage of those in the middle class has decreased over that same period of time. What group then has increased as a percentage of the population as union membership has declined if the percentage of poor has stayed the same and the percentage of middle class has declined? Why, those in the upper income brackets, right?

Well VL, you don't know me really, so whatever. I have a lot of years working in many companies and with many unions so I think I have a pretty good handle on it. Cheers!

The House and Senate are at odds over proposals to cut rural air service subsidies and make it more difficult for airline workers to unionize.

Oh, now that one is just rich. Keeping the rules of unionization that have been in place for going on 80 years is somehow transformed into making it more difficult for airline workers to unionize. No archer, the rules should not be changed to make it easier than it has been to unionize and as long as the Democrats insist upon that rule being changed the FAA will remain shut down. If you want the FAA up and operating, call Reid and tell him to stop insisting the rule be changed from its current form.

typical Printsmith BS. The old voting scheme was designed to give an unfair disadvantage to workers. That rule rigged any union election against the workers by counting non-votes as no votes. The new rule which is used in every other industry would simply require the votes counted to be the official tally which I believe is the American way, and the very foundation of our country. Just because it is old does not make it right.

Why thanks VL, I give you alot of crap too and its all in good fun. I am not a union hater, I just have seen problems with them especially in manufacturing. Its more about work rules, attitudes and efficiency to me, they are just damn hard to work with. I don't have a big problem with them negotiating fair wages if there is a balance of power and reason. I have worked in many union and non-union companies, and I would prefer non-union, its just more friendly and efficient. I also talked alot with a guy who used to be in the sheet rock/painter union in Colorado, and he didn't have much good to say about it. He retired and went to work on the side without being in a union. Cheers! :)
