Obama proposed and finalized 608 new government regulations JUST IN JULY!! For a total of $9.5 Billion more in job killing red tape! And they can't figure out WHY we aren't creating new jobs? Really? If he isn't gone in 2012, we won't have any more freedoms left.

Report: Obama Administration Added $9.5 Billion in Red Tape in July
Conservatives take aim at job-killing regulations

At Tuesday's GOP Senate caucus lunch, the lawmakers said that they will renew their efforts, supported by business groups like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. In a memo Barasso handed out to the lawmakers, he claimed that the administration in July only has put in $9.5 billion in new regulatory costs by proposing 229 new rules and finalizing 379 rules. Among those he cited were EPA, healthcare reform, and financial regulatory reform rules.

Don't worry Viking, Obama is now focused like a lazer beam on "creating" jobs...or is that "saving" jobs? I forget which he was so good at.

This really does seem like deja vu doesn't it? He knew the unemployment rate was going up when he stepped into office, so what does he do to "create" jobs?....he and the worthless House and Senate waste a year on a health care bill that was never read and Americans did not want and he said it would bring down costs and create jobs rofllol  WRONG and WRONG! Now the economy is headed for a double dip and the market is plummeting.....but we REALLY need these new regulations to create more jobs! I'm sure his bus tour will bring lots of jobs :woo hoo: The best thing for the economy would be for Obama to resign...oh wait, I forgot about the other dumbass...nevermind, we're screwed.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Well my credit card statement is easier to read now (NOT) due to financial reform regs. Actually I never read it or even get one. I pay it online and opt out of mailed statements.

And my health insurance? I am locked into a grand-fathered plan, don't want to change it. I'm stuck thanks to Obamacare. I'm glad I did not switch to Aetna awhile ago, almost did. They pulled out of Colorado due to new health care regulations.

And don't forget new car regulations. Stability control, black boxes, rear view cameras, new 50mpg mandate, etc.

And.........

Didn't Obama create some sort of commission to study ways of reducing regulations on business?

Geez, you guys are such tools. The "proof" that Viking cited is just another of his many outrages and lies. So a republican politician hands out a one page political ad that makes claims with no support for these alleged "facts". Typical conservative BS.

"We are proud of our environmental record, having received many awards and recognitions for our environmental stewardship and commitment to energy efficiency. Most recently, Roanoke Cement was awarded the Energy Star Award for the fifth year in a row by the Environmental Protection Agency.

We are, however, becoming more and more concerned about an aggressive agenda by the EPA to pursue rules that will further deteriorate our struggling economy and increase costs for consumers just when so many are struggling to make ends meet. America's businesses, especially manufacturing companies, are facing a full-frontal assault from the The EPA is proposing regulations to control numerous air pollutants that the agency's own studies show pose no risk to human health; the health benefits claimed by the EPA for these proposed regulations are actually for pollutants that are already controlled through other existing regulations.

Quoting business about regulations on their industry is like quoting teenagers about their parent's rules. You might not get the most unbiased opinion.

just sayin'

Of course but if you discount everything because it represents a POV you are left with nothing.

It may not show but there is a lot of good stuff that I will not post because it is too easy to sneer at the source.

How am I discounting everything when only one point of view was posted? And I didn't discount it, only pointed out the bias. I'm guessing if you know the information would be sneered at because of it's source, you know it's suspect.
