Newsweek's Michele Bachmann Cover Raises Eyebrows

No wonder the main stream media keeps going under. If they want to call themselves a liberal rag then do it and then people know what to expect.

The cover shows Bachmann standing against a stark blue background, looking directly into the camera with a wide-eyed expression. The headline advertising the magazine's story reads, "THE QUEEN OF RAGE."

"Rage" is a word that doesn't appear in Newsweek's actual profile of Bachmann, though author Lois Romano does criticize what she calls the "radical" nature of the Tea Party that Bachmann champions.

Conservative websites are already crying foul over the cover, with some saying it makes Bachmann look "crazy" and one blogger asking, "Can anyone really say with a straight face that the mainstream media is not totally biased against conservatives?"

Luckily Newsweek is a shadow of its former self. I no longer see it in doctors offices or at the checkout. I think it recently declared bankruptcy.

Yes, I remember how the "liberal media" covered the Howard Dean scream in 2000. It received absolutely no attention, didn't it? There were not any stories in the liberal media about how he might be off his rocker, were there? The liberal media never called him crazy, right?

The difference here is that Bachmann is batsh*t crazy.

I think it might be kind of hard to make her NOT appear to be crazy.

So, just how crazy is batsh*t crazy? Is it more or less crazy than catshi*t crazy? How about bullshi*t crazy? Inquiring minds want to know.

Acting in a generally insane manner; Tom Cruise.
When Tom Cruise jumped on Oprah's couch, he proved he was bat-sh*t crazy.

One step beyond just plain crazy. It is usually a temporary thing...sparked by something unexpected, or just really awful.
As soon as he saw me humping his mom, he went bat-sh*t crazy.

Crazy to a degree bordering on complete insanity. The state in which one makes decisions which make the exact opposite of sense.

- Because she's bat-sh*t crazy.

That was an interesting speech from Howard Dean who I used to like, and right wing talk radio ran with that for years. It did look like it killed his campaign, but he really wasn't polling very well anyway so maybe it just hastened the end.

But back to Michele, I don't think she is crazy, but by courting hard right voters, she has taken on a platform that might be hard to defend once the primaries start. Will she moderate her message? Or throw them under the bus like Obama?
Bill Ayers? I know not that man.
Rev. Wright? I know not that man.
Gov. Rod Blagovich? I know not that man.

I don't think Michelle Bachman is either stupid or crazy (batsh*t or otherwise) but I think her ideas and the sources and influences from which she draws them arguably are.

Really? Explain how she is 'batsh*t crazy'. That seems to be the new liberal talking point that you all use because you are told to. SO why is she?

I respect that opinion. It is much better than the others on here calling her batsh*t crazy.
