Jefferson County residents don't want to share a senator

LAKEWOOD — Jefferson County residents told commissioners redrawing legislative boundaries that they don't want to share a state senator with other counties.
New census data allow Jefferson County to have 3.7 senators, and three of those senators should have districts entirely within the county, they said at a public hearing Tuesday night at Red Rocks Community College.

They probably want to dilute Jeffco with Boulder county.
