Yeah, if you like listening to the opinions of a guy who screwed up the federal government's response to a major disaster and whined about it, and you think KOA pays well (they don't. they're owned by a broadcast corporation known for not paying well), you are spot on.
The sad thing is you stand up for his lame ass because he's a republican, not because of the man himself. You probably believe he did a great job. It proves how warped your thinking is.
New Orleans?
I am betting Obama's team would do a similar bad job if a large city that is under sea level was hit by a major hurricane.
I hope to hell they aren't spending the billions it would take to be prepared for a major hurricane anywhere along the Gulf Coast. Especially when we haven't had a big storm on a urban area in years...despite global warming.

Did you forget about Hurricane Ike that hit Houston a few years back?
Ike's storm surge devastated the Bolivar Peninsula of Texas, and surge, winds, and flooding from heavy rains caused widespread damage in other portions of southeastern Texas, western Louisiana, and Arkansas. Twenty people were killed in these areas, with 34 others still missing. Property damage from Ike as a hurricane is estimated at $19.3 billion. Additionally, as an extratropical system over the Ohio valley, Ike was directly or indirectly responsible for 28 deaths and more than $1 billion in property damage.
