The truth about Rick Perry's "Texas Miracle"

The Lone Star State is rich in natural resources such as oil and natural gas, so when the rest of the country was struggling with high energy prices at the onset of the recession, Texas companies were turning big profits and, therefore, pumping tax revenue into the state coffers.

Maybe Ritter should have and Hickenlooper should take note - instead of making Colorado into a Federal government tit state

Yeah, with an average salary rate that's the 47th lowest of the 50 states; the 48th worst record on education; the jobs they're creating are for burger-flipping and taco-stuffing. PLEASE move to Texas...They can obviously use the "advance skill-set"...

Oh yeah, maybe those in Texas should leave and come to Colorado for some of those US and China government subsidized "Green Jobs." By the way, a job is a job - it's only knuckleheads like Looney Jerk who depend on government bids to survive to criticize those who work those jobs....she would rather import illegals to do those jobs ..and keep pressure on keeping those wages low.

Average salary rate means nothing.....unless you compare it with the cost of living. I would rather live in the 50th lowest if my cost of living is 1st lowest in the nation, state income taxes are the 1st lowest.

Libtards would rather live in the 1st salary earning state, 1st highest tax rate state, 1st social welfare program, and 1st bankrupt state.

I'd be happy to help you pack your bags RT....how soon can you move to Texas?.....You would fit right in, Texas has the highest number of over 25 adults without a high school diploma.

Really Archer? That's interesting...maybe because in California and Arizona it's illegal to count the illegals.

Here's some fun facts:

This is really sad -
* 83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens.
* 86% of warrants for murder in Albuquerque are for illegal aliens.
* 75% of those on the most wanted list in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Albuquerque are illegal aliens
* 24.9% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals
* 40.1% of all inmates in Arizona detention centers are Mexican nationals
* 48.2% of all inmates in New Mexico detention centers are Mexican nationals
* 29% (630,000) convicted illegal alien felons fill our state and Federal prisons at a cost of $1.6 billion annually
* 53% plus of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.
* 50% plus of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal aliens
* 71% plus of all apprehended cars stolen in 2005 in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California were stolen by Illegal aliens or "transport coyotes".
* 47% of cited/stopped drivers in California have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 47%, 92% are illegal aliens.
* 63% of cited/stopped drivers in Arizona have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 63%, 97% are illegal aliens
* 66% of cited/stopped drivers in New Mexico have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 66% 98% are illegal aliens.
* 380,000 plus " " were born in the US to illegal alien parents in just one year, making 380,000 babies automatically US citizens (which is UN-Constitutional; illegal).
* 97.2% of all costs incurred from those illegal births were paid by the American taxpayers.
And remember YOU are supporting ALL of these illegal???s no matter where they are now. Every time another illegal runs the border breaking our laws, your pocket just gets lighter and robbed more.
FUN FACTS
Some fun facts:
1) 64% of Americans were against Obama care. Dems pushed it through.
2) 74% of Americans want tighter borders and illegal aliens to follow the law. Dems are ignoring this and will push through Amnesty.
3) Mayor Gavin Newsome (D) has made San Francisco a sanctuary city, and wants illegal aliens to have the right to vote in US elections. Mayor Villarigosa and the LA city council (most Dems) boycott AZ, and turn a blind eye to illegal aliens.
4) Illegal immigrants cost AZ 2 billion + per year, CA 12 billion / year (Average cost to US + or - 200 billion/ year.
5) Head of ICE (D) won't deport AZ arrestees.
6) Holder (D), Obama (D), Napolitano, ridicules AZ law, but hasn???t read it.
7) The last Amnesty for illegal aliens increased illegal occupation. Amnesty is just an invitation for illegal aliens to come in ever increasing numbers. All politicians are sworn to uphold the Constitution, and those listed are not. Maybe we should all wake up

And that has what to do with the crappy Texas education system? It was bad enough when I lived there, from all indications and from what has been reported, it is even worse now. I know.....everything bad in this country is because of illegal aliens.....what a convenient way to avoid the facts, especially about what Rick Perry has done to Texas.

You haven't got your new Dem talking point. The Texas Governor is just a figurehead, so none of these jobs or poor education, etc are his fault.

Is that the new Republican talking point? Perry didn't cause all the problems in Texas, he's just a figurehead? Isn't that just like conservatives, take credit for what goes right, and blame democrats for what goes wrong.
