Rick Perry is not the subtlest politician, but he looks like Pericles next to the liberals falling over themselves to discredit job creation in Texas. We'd have thought any new jobs would be a blessing when 25 million Americans are looking for full-time work, but apparently new jobs aren't valuable jobs if they're created in a state that rejects Obamanomics.
Agree, there are a lot more things to bash Perry on but busting him for successes is strange and counter-productive and will just remind voters that Obama isn't creating jobs.
I heard yesterday on KNUS that Obama's plan to have everyone better insulate their homes was held up for 6 months while the Feds decided what should be the proper labor rate for these projects. Shovel ready wasn't shovel ready, was it?

Rick Perry lost 40,000 private sector jobs and gained 110,000 government jobs using stimulus money...
You crackers better put your sh%t in reverse on this subject, lol
Cracker? Throwing around racist terms?
See Perry can create jobs with stimulus, something Obama hasn't done a good job doing. New headline, "Perry out Keynes Obama". I guess that happens when you hire for President with no practical business experience.

Uh, it's not Perry's stimulus. It's Obama's stimulus, the right continually points out here. The Texas jobs probably wouldn't have been created if the government hadn't given Texas the money. You know, the "failed" stimulus money?

So is Texas the only state that was given money, and if not, why didn't all the other states make as much from it as Texas did? I'm sure it's just luck right?
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
Actualy there are 25 states with lower unemployment than Texas, and they are able to do it without relying upon minimum wage jobs. Even Massachusetts with near universal health insurance coverage (remember the claims that will kill jobs) has a lower unemployment rate than Texas which has the highest rate of uninsured in the nation.

We don't have to defend a single position of Perry's....the Democrat Socialist Party of America (i.e. Jackass Party) is going to have to defend Obimbo's policies.
The bottom line: Texas's economy is stronger than most blue states. Governor can take credit...but the bottom line is that Texas is business friendly - always has been. No business tax and no personal income tax. There are many US corporations that are still alive because they moved from oppressive blue state socialism governments. Companies like JC Penney and even Apple and others moved to Texas in the 80's and 90's to save costs.
In fact, it's fun to travel around Texas and find out how many people are moving from blue states because this red state has jobs.
