Congrats To The Libyan Rebels & NATO!

Looks like the big Mo is on the run and his sons have been captured.

Personally I was skeptical when this alliance was first announced, but the US, France and Britain were able to provide enough air support to get the rebels into the Tripoli suburbs.

Side note, as a guy who studied World War II's desert war, it is neat hearing the names Tobruk and Benghazi again.

I heard that Fox News has offered Gaddafi a job as a political commentator.

Yes, but will it be a good thing?
The people will enjoy a short freedom and then what?

That is what I am worried about. Gaddafi and Mubarak may have been Kleptocrats but they were secularists who kept the Muslim Brotherhood contained. Will the current group of rebels be able to do the same?

And will the tribes that supported Qaddafi face retribution? So far it looks like reprisals against Gadaffi supporters have either been mild or covered up.

Syria will have the same issues if Bashir Assad steps aside, another secular leader of a minority population, that minority population (Alawites) might be blamed for all the state sponsored killings.
