Remember how Florida Governor Rick Scott claimed drug testing welfare applicants would save the state millions?

So far, only 2% have tested positive, saving $60,000 each year at total cost of $178-million annually.

Maybe the known druggies are not signing up because they know about the test?
Most drugs- just wait 2-4 days and they clear out of your pee. Maybe 7 days max?

I'd rather they spend the money on free condoms and free BC pills, JMO

Chirp Chirp!

It was never about saving money.....it's all about power and playing to the conservative base.

Just as the Tea Party harps about closing federal agencies and programs. It can come back to bite you in the end when thousands of workers are put on unemployment.

Another stupid government idea....R or D .... it's just stupid for the money to be handling out large amounts of cash to a class of citizens that seemingly continues to grow each year.
