What was the bus tour about? The man prefers the persona of a rock star. He has enjoyed this persona since he started his previous campaign.

Oh, also....the bus tour was a campaign tour. With the numbers President Obama is facing he needed to continue what he has been doing since he took office. Campaigning.

I can hardly wait for us to elect a president who stops campaigning on election day and actually starts leading the country. Is that possible?

What was racist about what I posted on this thread?

Chickaree - if it's the back of the bus comment.....do you have Alzheimers or you don't have no sense of humor?

He said Republicans had driven the economy into a ditch and then stood by and criticized while Democrats pulled it out. Now that progress has been made, he said, "we can't have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back."

I am still waiting for Obama to pull out....he's been screwing us for a while.

I can't believe Obama lies about who drove our economy into the ditch (check out the timeline video on who drove our economy where, at http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=cMnSp4qEXNM&NR=1 ) - and suggests that the Democrats have pulled anything out (except maybe their investments out of the market, rolling them over into gold futures).

"We can't have special interests sitting shotgun?" Hey ho, Mr. President! How about if you stop ruling by czar and start working with Congress, instead of riding shotgun with your "special interest" socialist agenda and back room cronies?

"Republicans can sit in the back" ? Really? You know how smart Mr. Obama is? He plays the race card when no white candidate can. He will make racist comments like "Republicans can sit in the back" over and over - and get away with it, because he's black, and anyone challenging him is accused of being racist.

This is probably closer to the truth:

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
