I have a rock in my back yard you can pray to, if you think it will help.... No doubt it will have exactly the same effect as the prayers for rain did--which is to say, none....
Does it seem a bit early for the mud slinging to start? Doesn't the media normally delve into the known candidates past after the primaries?
Back to the original question, no Rick Perry is not stupid, he has managed to create a business friendly environment in an economy that is as bad as it has been in the last four decades - maybe even longer. Business friendly environments + people who need jobs = more employed people who pay taxes. If the economy is ever going to turn around we need leadership in the 'Gubment that understands how the economy works, not a politician who is concentrating on getting re-elected and taking as much vacation as possible.
Retort with the logic behind trying to spend our way out of debt and starting a new war in Libya while claiming that our role is minimal. Keep passing out cash for "green jobs" that don't translate into anything more than a few people getting new administrative positions and a lot of money spent. Shovel ready? You know were you can put that shovel? Get serious about fixing the economy and restoring America to it's previous position as a world power.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

While “Obama has taken 61 days of vacation so far,” anchor Scott Pelley noted over a photo montage of those he cited, “at this point in their presidencies, George W. Bush had spent 180 days at his ranch, where staff often joined him for meetings, and Ronald Reagan 112 days at his ranch. Among recent Presidents, Bill Clinton took the least time off -- 28 days.”
Sorry, you need some new material... The Rightie talking-points from the usual b.s. sources aren't working.... You want some cheese with that whine?
