Please explain why the left felt this was an unimaginable display of hubris on the part of Bush and is perfectly acceptable under Obama.

The entire question is a misdirection. Please tell us who Bush blamed.

Good question....Bush never felt he had to blame anyone for anything, most especially himself. He genuinely thought he had never made a mistake or done anything wrong, everything on his watch was A-OK.

Really now archer, have you somehow managed to channel Bush? I'm quite certain that he didn't think everything was coming up roses as you are seemingly wanting to imply. Looking back Bush is convinced that the decisions he made at the time were the best ones he could have made under the known circumstances. I'm quite certain that he had hoped for a better outcome on some, or even many, of them than they actually resulted in, but that is not the same as being a Monday morning quarterback on every decision that the man made as president for strictly partisan purposes. The fact that he blames no one else for the results of the decisions he made as president sets him worlds above our current executive who seemingly wishes to blame everyone and everything but himself for the results of the decisions he has made.

Bush ain't in office barry is and anyone in office is a politician, however I don't think any of them are dumb enough to spend, spend, spend our way to prosperity.
That is a product of IL school system economics, or a job provided by the public for your whole life.

VL, he's just another rightie that resorts to STFU when they have no defense. It's getting tiresome.
