When you set out to tell a lie you need to remember all of the details, otherwise you'll get caught lying and those who are really paying attention will know you are lying no matter what. The obvious point of the cartoon is to illustrate the deflection that Barry and his administration are using to defend their actions or lack of action depending on the issue. It's easier to be the victim of someone else's actions than it is to own up to the truth and admit you made a mistake. Real leaders acknowledge their mistakes, enlist the help of credible experts, and work with their staff to solve problems. Barry and his staff would rather place the blame on others and attempt to manipulate the public into believing that all that is wrong with the world is someone else's fault.
How about less blaming others and some real traction on fixing the economy Barry?
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
The cartoon is true...every one of those excuses have been used and not once has he admitted being wrong on his approach to solving the economic problems. (maybe one, he saiid the shovel ready jobs were not as shovel ready as he thought....but still admitted no fault on his part).
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
Please explain how that is any different from George Bush who, at the end of his first four years in office couldn’t identify a single mistake by his administration?

It's not any different other than nobody was complainig about 9% unemployment during his firts term. He also didn't make all the promises Obama has made that have not materialized even with control of both houses in the first two years.

Unemployment fell in July - it's still not great, but it's getting better.
Unemployment rates fell in a majority of U.S. cities in July, despite a weak economy that is producing few jobs.
The Labor Department said Wednesday that unemployment rates dropped in 193 large metro areas, increased in 118 and were flat in 61. That's a sharp change from June, when unemployment rates rose in more than 90 percent of metro areas.
In July, the U.S. economy added 117,000 net jobs and the national unemployment rate fell to 9.1 percent. Still, the economy needs roughly twice that number of jobs to significantly lower the unemployment rate.
Many businesses pulled back on hiring this spring, after high gas prices, scant wage gains and supply disruptions caused by the Japan crisis contributed to a slowdown in growth.
The economy expanded at an annual pace of just 0.7 percent in the first half of the year. That's the weakest six months of growth since the recession officially ended two years ago.
The July-September quarter is off to a better start. Consumer spending rose 0.8 percent last month, the largest gain in five months. Americans bought more cars and spent more to cool their homes during a heat wave.
