Obama, Democrats Losing Key Support

WASHINGTON — In the early days of the Obama administration, organized labor had grand visions of pushing through a sweeping agenda that would help boost sagging membership and help revive union strength.

Now labor faces this reality: Public employee unions are in a drawn-out fight for their very survival in Wisconsin, Ohio and other states where GOP lawmakers have curbed collective bargaining rights.

Also, many union leaders are grousing that the president they worked so hard to elect has not focused enough on job creation and other bold plans to get their members back to work.

Outdoor. I cited this same article in the "It's Over" thread. So you know, VL says he is labor and he is voting the Obama ticket anyway...no matter what. I think he was implying that he would personally cover whatever funding reductions the Democrat Party may experience as the labor unions become more and more disillusioned with the grand Ponzi scheme that is the current administration. rofllol

You make a good point. Since the liberal Democrats are all about redistributing wealth, perhaps VL would like to start more of a grassroots effort and start redistributing all the money he pisses away on exotic vacations on local people who can use it instead.

How does that saying go? "Money talks and bullsh-- walks."

I'm looking forward to news of the 285 Bound Liberal Democrat Wealth Redistribution Program not only from VL but equally from some of his liberal kin who also seem to experience diarrhea of the mouth on this topic. I can hardly wait to hear about the details. Put their money where their mouth is.
