Thw Wall Street Journal had a very sad report about how wounded Afghan soldiers and policemen are being denied treatment and food unless their family pays bribes. One of the photos in the article show a man who starved to death while his family was trying to sell their farmland. Who exactly is the enemy here? The Taliban or the corruption endemic in this society.
