Interesting, my wife hate US news and tries to watch the BBC instead. Seems a little removed.

IIRC, the UK based Economist has many more US than UK readers.

I like the UK news sites too, BBC is one of my daily visits. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/

I'll check out the Guardian too. US news site web pages are too overloaded with flashy BS content, ads and videos that I rarely watch. I only use Google news and yahoo finance.
