One doesn't. Baiting and trolling are one and the same. Both fishing analogies for provacative posting.
Here are my definitions:
Baiting is deliberately trying to annoy or taunt a particular poster. Trolling is going after anyone who will bite.
That makes sense... I haven't seen that distinction before, but following the analogy it flows pretty well.
