Do you have a link to the bill so we can all read it?

So maybe someone could explain to the ignorant, unwashed like me, why the wealthy aren't creating new jobs and innovative businesses that will save our economy right now? With a decade of tax cuts and bailouts it seems we should be able to easily see the benefits to our economy. I'm tired of hearing the excuses and that the increase in taxing the wealthy won't solve all our economic problems. It doesn't have to solve ALL the problems and I don't buy the agrument that more jobs will leave the country for cheaper labor in some other country. What's left to mnove??

The wealthy aren't creating jobs because they don't have to....the conservatives will give them everything their little hearts desire, protect them from those evil taxes, and they don't have to do a damn thing....

If I had billions or even millions, I would find where the best ROI was. With this economy it may not be here.

The silent majority will be silent no more.

On that my family is self employed we offer services, we have been fortunate to keep busy, however all most all of our clients are wealthy because the services we offer are not an everyday need in most cases.

The wealthy aren't paying taxes, they are paying more income tax than everybody else combined, but you have to keep picking, chop the head off the golden goose.
Just keep raising the heat on the pot with the boiling frog until the frog is dead.
So you want the top 5% to pay 100% of the income taxes? Get the majority to gore the minority of producers?

Like they did in Detroit? NY State? California? Greece? All those socialist utopias?

Investors will wait with their money until they see an opportunity for profit. They are not going to create jobs for the sake of jobs, they create jobs by investing in opportunity. Obama and the Democrats have the opportunity valves shut off.

They will wait as long as it takes. Raising their taxes will not provide any incentive for them to invest. The job creators are under attack by this government and they know it.

What's left to move- plenty. If I had the time I could start listing the companies that will be laying off more people - the "summer of recovery" is over.

Nice strawman you have going there.....no one says they aren't paying taxes now, nor are they saying that they should pay 100% of the taxes. If you cannot make your point without exaggerating what people post, then maybe your point is wrong. And you conveniently ignore the fact that many of the wealthy agree that they are being coddled with low taxes and too many loopholes not available to the middle class. But hey.......you keep on pretending that if we just give the wealthiest people more breaks that will trickle down to the middle class.....of course it will, and elephants will fly too.

Excellent point. Mind if I borrow it on occasion.
