Yes, communism is so good for the people. Communism is responsible for more deaths than any other political system including Nazism. Jesus was no commie.Wayn-O wrote: Jesus was the ultimate commie. Imagine if he were alive today and preaching what he preached. The right would tear him apart. They'd crucify him.

1. The early church held all things in common. He commanded us to give our excess stuff to the poor. Heck, He commanded us to sell EVERYTHING and give it to the poor.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common; and sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. Acts 2:44,45
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, and laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. Acts 4:32, 34-35
He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise. Luke 3:11
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. Matthew 19:21
2. He commanded universal health care.
But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: and thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee ... Luke 13:14, 15
3. Like many commies, He writes in red letters.

He didn't say to give to all to some governing entity to distribute as they wish.Kate wrote: Maybe he was a communist. Here's a list that would prove that he had communist tendencies:

You are correct that he didn't say "give your money to the government," but he did say:CriticalBill wrote:

If he was preaching to render all unto Caesar, I'm betting you'd be correct. The irony of it all is that this isn't what he preached, not even close to it. Jesus never preached collective salvation, he preached individual salvation. What is it that the regressive left is unable to comprehend about this most basic truth? Why is it that religion should be banned from the public square according to the Statist unless they can use it in order to justify taking by force of government what you have earned through the fruits of your own labor?Wayn-O wrote: Jesus was the ultimate commie.
