Or someone asked "Who thinks they are the King of the World?"

In any case, this is a prime example of right-wing hysteria run amok.

Wasn't it originally posted on MSNBC???

Right wing hysterics? We are having a little fun with Obama's photo-op.

Hundreds of photos were taken and MSNBC picks the least flattering photo?

Exactly where is the liberal media bias everyone talks about?

I have no idea. The quote is from the article, not from me. The fact is the photo is going around on right-wing blogs, labeled as an "embarrassment," implying he embarrassed the country by waving at someone during the photo-op.

One could argue the act of posting it may be different than the act of characterizing it as an "embarrassment."

Based on photos of politicians and celebrities published that I've seen, it appears many of the publishers like to use photos that are less flattering to the person photographed (like that photograph of Bush pulling on the wrong door in China.)

(Or the photograph of McCain looking like a zombie during an off moment of a debate with Obama)

They should all be viewed with a good dose of humor.

Actually, we should have a thread just for embarrassing photos of politcos. That would be fun to look at.

Wayne, there is no reason for you explanation other than to try and state you are smarter. The picture of the President waving, for whatever reason, was obviously chosen to make a point that upsets Obama supporters. Those who support him will find a million reasons justifying the action, whereas those looking to illustrate him in a bad light use it for the damaging purposes. Since it is so easy to google, it would be interesting to see if there are any other photos of this group in which anther leader did something equally damaging. Find and post it and it certainly mitigates the impact of Obama's wave. Failure will only strengthen opposing arguments and supporters will simply have to accept things as they are.

Actually there was, Rockdoc, as some here believe that I think I'm smarter than everybody here and they have told me that. I frequently post the results of Google searches in rebuttal to things on here and I want to make sure everyone knows it's very easy to do and doesn't take any special smarts. I want to dispel that notion.

I have no idea how to answer your conclusion that I am trying to state I am smarter by posting that I am not smarter. It makes absolutely no sense to me. But it may be because I'm not as smart as you are.
